NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A Supreme Court judge has set a March 4, 2024 trial date for an American housewife accused of plotting the murder of her estranged husband with her lover and his friend.

Lindsay Shiver, her alleged lover Terrance Bethel, and Faron Newbold Jr pleaded not guilty to the murder conspiracy charge at their arraignment before Senior Justice Cheryl Grant-Thompson.

Prosecutors allege that the trio planned the murder of Robert Shiver in Abaco on July 16.

The alleged murder plot was uncovered while police were investigating a break-in at Grabbers Bar and Grill in Guana Cay, Abaco.

Bethel, who worked as a bartender at the bar, was arrested for questioning relation to the break-in and theft.

While in custody, police allegedly found a series of text messages between the accused concerning the alleged murder plot.
