Trump Cabinet Confirmation Hearings Continue

UNITED STATES – Donald Trump’s Attorney General nominee, Pam Bondi, pledged Wednesday not to politicize the Justice Department, promising no “enemies list” under her leadership. Speaking to the Senate Judiciary Committee, Bondi sought to reassure critics concerned about the potential targeting of Trump’s political opponents. Democrats, however, remain wary, citing Trump’s threats to use the justice system for revenge.

Bondi also said she would review potential January 6th pardons on a “case-by-case” basis.

Meanwhile, Trump’s Secretary of State nominee, Marco Rubio, called for mutual concessions from Russia and Ukraine to end their ongoing war.
