Trump Urges U.S. House Republicans To Vote To Release Epstein Files

UNITED STATES – United States President Donald Trump urges house Republicans to release files on the late Jeffrey Epstein, saying “we have nothing to hide.”

Trump’s post on his Truth Social platform came after House Speaker Mike Johnson said a vote could quiet questions about Trump’s past ties to Epstein.

Reuters says Epstein once claimed Trump “knew about the girls” though the context is unclear.

Trump has called the files a democratic smear and ordered the Department of Justice to investigate Democrats’ connections to Epstein.
