NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Two men granted bail for murder are back in custody after facing a new murder charge.

Prosecutors allege that 24-year-old Marquin Williams and 21-year-old Randy Mackey are responsible for the July 2 murder of Garath Pyfrom.

Pyfrom was ambushed by two gunmen as he was about to enter the South Beach Mansion on Marshall Road to attend a pool party.

This is the third time that Williams has been accused of murder. He was previously charged with murders of Anniko Strachan and Travis Knwoles in 2019.

Meanwhile, Mackey was previously charged with the 2021 murder of Renardo Morley.

Williams and Mackey were not required to enter a plea to the murder charge when they appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt.

Bail was denied and both men return to court on October 10 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
