NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The carnage continues with another two men gunned down in the capital. It pushes the murder count to fourteen.

A brazen daylight shooting leaving two men dead, in two separate incidents. 

In the first incident, Police Press Liaison Chief Superintendent Chrislyn Skippings tells us the victim was on bail for murder and was electronically monitored. Add to that, the man was also scheduled to return to court on Monday  for trial.

The deadly shooting happening at the intersection of Parkgate and Village Road.

Our News can confirm the victim is 23-year-old Jason Lamm. 

He was released on thirty thousand dollars bail, for a March 1st 2021 killing.

Less than a hour before that, the sound of gunshots filled the air in the Fox Hill community.

Police say a man was found dead through a tract road. The two murders pushing the countries murder count to 14. It comes amid a surge in homicides, prompting Prime Minister Philip Davis to give a national address outlining a comprehensive plan to combat crime and gang violence.

Police now telling us they are concerned about what appears to be the boldness of these killings.
