UNITED NATIONS – The United Nations Security Council wants to introduce sanctions, an asset freeze and arms embargo against anyone threatening Haiti’s peace and stability.

One of the first intended targets is a man named Jimmy Cherizier, known as Barbecue.

He is named as one of Haiti’s most influential gang members.

Haiti’s ongoing gang violence and shortage of drinking water just go worse with a deadly cholera outbreak.
