USA – The United States Coast Guard has offloaded 901 pounds of cocaine following the interdiction of a smuggling vessel in the Caribbean sea.

USA – The United States Coast Guard has offloaded 901 pounds of cocaine following the interdiction of a smuggling vessel in the Caribbean sea.

The U.S Coast Guard said the three men apprehended in this case are Dominican Republic nationals, who are facing U.S. federal prosecution in district court of Puerto Rico.

The interdiction is the result of multi-agency efforts involving the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force, the Caribbean border interagency group and the Caribbean corridor strike force.
