GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – The University of The Bahamas Northern Campus gearing up to host several events this week at the school’s future Downtown Grand Bahama campus.

The highlights of the week include a cultural festival on March 31st followed by a Culturama concert on April 1st.

Committee Chair, Autherine Turnquest says the goal is to give students an extraordinary college experience while Librarian Juliet Glenn-Callendar says there will also be an exhibition entitled “Our legacy, our future.”

And the festivities won’t end there.

There’s also a choir competition this week that includes many high schools on Grand Bahama.

The Ministry of Tourism is on board for this week’s cultural events and the Grand Bahama Independence Committee has officially endorsed the event.
