UB Soccer Players To Play In CONCACAF

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Nathan Wells is a midfielder for The Bahamas National Team and one of four University of The Bahamas players along with Wood Julemis, Junior Kelly and Antonio Beckford.  

Coach Alex Thompson had high praise for his players.

Beckford has a remarkable story, a newcomer to the sport he’s representing his country only one year after he started playing it.

NFL Flag Football

The NFL held a clinic teaching the fundamentals of flag football at the Thomas A. Robinson Stadium Thursday evening. Director of Officiating for NFL Flag Tom Laneve taught local coaches and officials the regulations and some tips about the game.

Laneve also underscored the NFL’s commitment to growing the sport in the country by educating and certifying the next generation of Bahamian coaches and officials.
