UCONN Beat Ole Miss for Baha Mar Hoops Continental Tire Title

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A good game for those who came out to watch Grand Bahamian Head Coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin and the Ole Miss Lady Rebels play the UCONN Huskies.

It would be all UCONN in the first half with a score of 37-18 but Ole Miss would make a run in the third beating out UCONN 28-15 in that quarter.

At the end of it all UCONN pulled out the win 73-60 with Paige Bueckers leading all scorers with 29, 4 and 4.

Leading Ole Miss was KK Deans who had 17 points.

We spoke to UCONN Head Coach Geno Auriemma and his star guard following the win.

Coach Yo hammered home on the fact that UCONN made 15 layups against her team.

NBA

Another big night for Buddy Hield as he moved to 18th on the All Time 3-pointers List.

Buddy’s performance, with 17 points, and three rebounds, would not be enough though as his Golden State Warriors lost a close one to the Oklahoma City Thunder 105 to 101.

The Los Angeles Clippers won their game 121 to 96 over the Washington Wizards. Kai Jones had four points and two rebounds.

Meanwhile, the Houston Rockets beat the Philadelphia 76ers 122 to 115. Eric Gordon had two points and one rebound in the loss.

And a double double for Deandre Ayton against the Indiana Pacers. He had 16 points and 12 rebounds in 34 minutes of play but it wouldn’t be enough as his Portland Trailblazers fell to the Pacers 121 to 114
