UN-backed Force Asks for 2-year Extension to Push Gangs From Territory They Control
HAITI – The UN-backed Gang Suppression Force (GSF) has asked the Security Council to extend its mandate through September 2028, presenting its first detailed roadmap to help Haiti reduce gang control, secure key infrastructure, and strengthen national security institutions.
