Paris, France – Eurostar trains to London and Northern France came to a sudden halt Friday after an unexploded World War II bomb was found near the tracks north of Paris.

The device was discovered in Saint Denis at Europe’s busiest train station.

The French rail operator sncf said service would remain suspended until at least mid-afternoon as authorities worked to secure the area.

Passengers faced cancellations and delays, with no clear timeline for when normal service would resume.
