NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The US Embassy in Nassau will send 14 track and field coaches to the United States to participate in the ” bridging the gap” sports visitor program.

The aim is to remove the divide and bridge education and gender gaps, increasing the participation of girls in sports and connecting the Family Islands through higher education. 

The selected coaches will engage their American peers and practitioners and participate in clinics, and sessions. 

Those who apply for the program must be Bahamian citizens and are COVID-19 vaccinated.
