Village Road Project 80% Complete

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Village Road Improvement Project is now 80 percent paved.

Resident engineer for the project, Albrion Symonette Jr. says a lot of time was spent underground relocating utilities and other infrastructure upgrades. He also revealed that during the work, workers uncovered infrastructure that’s nearly half a century old.

If you haven’t seen it yet, a roundabout was recently place in front of Queens College.

The resident engineer says work crews will be hard at work this week trying to complete the paving.
