NASSAU, BAHAMAS – VJ Edgecombe is a shooting guard who plays for Long Island Lutheran High School in New York and a Bahamian, hailing all the way from Bimini.

VJ was home for the weekend playing in Hoopfest in Paradise tournament. He led his team to 2-0. He had this advice for others interested in taking their hoops talent to the next level.

And his ultimate goal?

Track and Field

BAAA’s President  Drumeco Archer talked about this year’s CARIFTA Games held right here at home this year.

He also spoke about athletes who came from Grand Bahama and Abaco to maintain their athletic lifestyles

And looking forward to next year – the world relays return – May 4 and 5th at the Thomas A. Robinson Stadium.
