U.S.A. – As he continues his progression in the minor leagues, Sebastian Walcott was once again recognized as a top prospect by major league baseball.

Walcott has been selected to his second consecutive MLB All-Star Futures Game, set for Saturday July 12 at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia.

At the 2024 Futures Game, Walcott earned a starting spot in shortstop and participated in the inaugural futures skills showcase at globe life field in Texas.

The 19-year-old Texas Rangers prospect is currently playing for the double-a Frisco Roughriders, where he’s hitting .247 with 8 home runs, 33 rbis, 18 stolen bases, and a .744 ops through 71 games.

The Futures Game is MLB’s premier mid-summer showcase for minor league talent, featuring top prospects from each team in a seven-inning exhibition between the American and National League squads.

Walcott is ranked among baseball’s top 10 overall prospects and continues to build momentum as one of the most promising young stars in the game.

His 24 extra base hits are the most by any teenager in double‑a baseball through a team’s first 74 Games since both Fernando Tatis Jr. and Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

Karting

Lenox Lockhart continues to shine as a rising star in North American Karting with a series of impressive wins this season.

Most recently, he won the micro swift race at round three of the United States Pro Kart Series held at Road America in Wisconsin.

The latest win adds to an already impressive season that includes his win at the Stars Championship Series’ Queen City Gambit in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he clinched the micro swift overall title with 361 points over four races.

Earlier this year, Lockhart dominated the micro swift final at the Skusa Pro Tour Winter Nationals in New Caney, Texas.

With a total of 16 wins and 28 podium finishes so far in 2025, Lockhart continues to carry the flag for Team Bahamas as a leader in the sport.

NCAA Basketball

The next step on Bryan Clarke’s basketball journey will take him to Stetson University.

Clarke will lead the strength and conditioning programs for both the hatters men’s and women’s basketball teams in Deland, Florida.

Clarke brings a wealth of experience from his time with the Houston Cougars.

He joined the cougars as a sports performance intern in December 2021 and was promoted to Assistant Director of Sports Performance for both men’s and women’s basketball prior to the 2023–24 season.

During his tenure at Houston, the team secured three straight conference regular‑season titles and made deep NCAA tournament runs – four straight sweet sixteens, two elite eights, a final four spot, and a runner up finish in the 2025 national title game.

MLB

Seemingly, out of nowhere, Jazz Chisholm Jr has become one of the hottest hitters in major league baseball.

Monday night Chisholm hit his 14th home run of the season, a two-run blast off Max Scherzer of the blue jays–traveling approximately 366 feet with an exit velocity of 102.7 mph.

The Blue Jays won 5-4, but the storlyine for us here – it was Chisholm’s fourth home-run in his last five games.

In his first 30 games, Chisholm was batting just .181 with seven home runs and 17 RBI, before a month on the injured list with an oblique strain.

His numbers since then have been some of the best in baseball.

For the month of June, he hit .318 with a .991 ops, seven home runs, five doubles and four stolen bases.
