Walmart Settles Class Action Lawsuit

UNITED STATES – If you’ve bought weighted groceries or bagged fruit at Walmart in recent years, you could receive a cash payment as part of a class action settlement.

Allegations claim that customers across the U.S. and Puerto Rico paid more than advertised for certain sold-by-weight items like meat, seafood, and select citrus. Walmart, denying wrongdoing, has agreed to a $45 million settlement.

Impacted consumers can now claim cash payments at the settlement administrator’s website.
