NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The BPL plant fire in North Andros has dominated headlines for a few weeks now with the latest update from Works and Utilities Minister Alfred Sears sharing that power has been fully restored.

However, along the way, a major hiccup as fuel transported to the island had been contaminated with water.

This supply was provided by the Freeport Oil Company Limited.

With the matter still under investigation President and CEO of FOCOL Dexter Adderley says they are confident in their operations.
