NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Living Waters Kingdom Ministries Senior Pastor Raymond Wells is stressing the importance of religious and political leaders keeping high standards.

While not speaking to any specific situation, wells said leaders must be mindful of the impact their decisions will have on those who look up to them.

His comments come after North Abaco Member of Parliament Kirk Cornish was arraigned on charges of rape, assault, and threats of death.

He’s the second MP to go before the courts. Embattled Long Island MP Adrian Gibson is also standing trial on bribery and money laundering. Immigration Minister Keith Bell came under fire for what some of calling questionable actions at the Department of Immigration which resulted in calls for his resignation.

Meanwhile, wells says the issue with leaders is concerning.

Wells who also serves at chaplain at the Royal Bahamas Defence Force doubled down stressing the need for integrity.
