We Welcome The Local Govt. Budget Increase

GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Chief Councillor for City of Freeport Council Frazette Gibson says she’s excited about the local government 10% increase but she has a concern.

GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – During the 2023-2024 Budget Debate it was announced that local government will see a 10% increase during this new fiscal year.

Frazette Gibson, Chief Councillor for City of Freeport Council says she’s excited about the increase but says she does have a concern.

The chief councillor also revealing that in the last three years their budget has been cut.
