NASSAU, BAHAMAS – From long time voters, to first time voters, residents in the Killarney, St. James, and Tall Pines consistencies made their way to polling sites across the area.

Those we caught up with were headed out of the polls, like some Killarney voters, who say they arrived at H.O. Nash Jr. High School more than an hour before polls opened.

The voting process was a smooth for many including first-time voter Malia Major and olympian Pauline Davis-Thompson.

Also voting today was former prime minister turned independent candidate, Dr. Hubert Minnis, who has been the area MP since 2007.

However, Minnis wasn’t the only candidate to show up at the polls today, we also caught up with several others at H.O. Nash and Aquinas College.
