NASSAU , BAHAMAS – Advance poll voters from western New Providence flocked to Garvin Tynes Primary School, where for many the process went smoothly, and for others it was an up to three-hour wait.

Our Jasmin Brown was at the polling station today, where she caught up with voters in the Tall Pines, Killarney, and St. James constituencies.

That was just one of several heated moments in a relatively quiet day of voting at Garvin Tynes Primary School, where thousands of people who registered to take part in the advance poll cast their early votes in the Killarney, St. James, and Tall Pines constituencies.

We caught up with several voters who were among the first to vote.

Others weren’t so lucky.

While the line for Tall Pines was moving quickly, those waiting to vote in Killarney faced longer waits, with some voters spending hours in line.

Among voters were two former prime ministers, along with current Prime Minister Philip Davis.

As voters lined up inside the school’s grounds, candidates and supporters positioned themselves outside.
