Will VAT Decrease On Uncooked Food Have A Major Impact?
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – In just a few days the VAT rate on some food will drop from 10% to 5%. This reduction will apply to a wide range of items available in food stores across the country, including fresh fruits and vegetables, baby food, lunch snacks and frozen foods.
