NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 59-year-old woman seen pushing a shopping cart while wearing a police uniform in a viral WhatsApp video has been remanded to Sandilands Rehabilitation for a psychiatric evaluation.

Yvonne Sargent pleaded not guilty to a charge of falsely pretending to be a police officer at her arraignment before Acting Chief Magistrate Subusola Swain.
Police officers arrested Sargent on Carmichael Road on August 5 after they allegedly saw her wearing a police uniform.
Sargent returns to court on October 3rd.
