NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A woman has been ordered to pay $5,000 in compensation after her dog bit a five-year-old girl.

On April 20, a Belgian Malinois belonging to Kristone Rodgers broke free from his enclosure at Broadfielf Road, off Culberts Hill, and went into the neighbor’s yard.
That’s when the dog bit the child who was at the pool with relatives.
Rodgers pleaded guilty go having a dangerous dog.
She was ordered to pay the money to avoid spending six months in prison.
