NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Works and Family Island Affairs Minister Clay Sweeting says his immediate goal is to address concerns that plague Bahamians most.

He breaks it down into two categories – New Providence and the Family Islands.

In Nassau, it’s the longstanding issues with roads.

The issue of potholes and drainage has been a point of contention for many who have complained its damaging their vehicles.

Since taking up the new post he says they’ve been hard at work trying to provide some relief for motorists.

Then there’s the Family Islands – while he says that they too face challenges with roads, that’s not the only big concern there.
