NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Come May 2024, the World Athletics Relays will return to The Bahamas.

This is the fourth time The Bahamas will host a high-level track and field event and it won’t just be any event as the World Athletics Relays will serve as a pre-cursor for the Olympics.

If you want to participate in the relays at the Olympics in Paris next year, you must come through The Bahamas.

At the launch Wednesday at the national stadium, event Chairman, Dr. Daniel Johnson and Deputy Chairman Pauline Davis spoke to the bidding process and why The Bahamas eventually got the green light.

The relays are scheduled for May 3 to May 5, 2024.
