NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A new $1.8 million dollar, three-year industrial agreement between The Bahamas Air Navigation Services Authority and Air Traffic Controllers Union was signed today.

The Industrial Agreement, which has been described as a landmark one, is effective from June 1, 2022 and will run until May 2025.

Deputy Prime Minister and Aviation Minister Chester Cooper outlines the agreement’s four key components.

President of the Air Traffic Controllers Union Hinsey McKenzie says he is happy for the new agreement but noted that it didn’t have to take this long.
