13 Killed: Last Body Recovered From Honduran Plane Crash

HONDURAS – The last of the 16 passengers on board the twin-engine plane that crashed Monday off the island of Roatán, in the Honduran Caribbean, was rescued from the wreckage of the plane, which was submerged several meters deep in the sea.

HONDURAS – The last of the 16 passengers on board the twin-engine plane that crashed Monday off the island of Roatán, in the Honduran Caribbean, was rescued from the wreckage of the plane, which was submerged several meters deep in the sea.

A Roatán Fire Department official told reporters that the body of a woman was recovered with the help of several divers, who transported it to a Honduran Naval Force Coast Guard vessel.

According to official sources, the aircraft veered and crashed into the sea.

Among the people killed was renowned singer-songwriter Aurelio Martínez.
