15-Year Sentence for Man Who Molested Teenage Daughter and Her Friend

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man who molested his teenage daughter and her friend has been jailed for a collective 15 years.

The 44-year-old man pleaded guilty to incest and unlawful sexual intercourse in the middle of his trial before Justice Renae McKay.

According to the evidence, the man began molesting his 15-year-old daughter soon after he met her at her junior high school graduation.

He molested his daughter in between August 1 and September 31, 2021 and October of 2021.

On one occasion, he molested his daughter and her 14-year-old friend while they were at his home.

In accordance with a plea agreement, the man was sentenced to 15 years for incest and 10 years for unlawful sexual intercourse. The sentences will be served at the same time.

While in prison, the man is expected to undergo counseling. And, once he’s released, he will be placed on two years probation.

A breach of probation will result in a two-year prison sentence.
