3 Dead, 8 Injured In Shooting At Dockside Restaurant In North Carolina

NORTH CAROLINA – Three people were killed and at least eight others injured late on Saturday when a shooter aboard a boat pulled alongside a dockside restaurant in Southport, North Carolina, and began firing

Local media reported the shooting occurred around 9:30pm local time at the American Fish Company restaurant and bar along the Intracoastal Waterway. 

The police chief of Southport, Todd Coring, said a person had been detained in connection with the shooting after fleeing the scene, adding that the community was not believed to be in any further danger.
