NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Cancer Society of The Bahamas receiving a $30,000 dollar cheque Wednesday morning, proceeds of the Get Your Rear in Gear Bahamas 5k Fun Run Walk.

Local Director of Get Your Rear in Fear Bahamas, Emily Darville says todays donation was collected over the past two years at the fundraiser aimed to raise awareness about colorectal cancer.

The funds will assist colon cancer patients in The Bahamas.
