35-Year-Old Man Charged with Burglary and Attempted Robbery
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 35-year-old man has been charged with burglary and attempted rape following an incident on Montgomery Avenue on August 21.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 35-year-old man has been charged with burglary and attempted rape following an incident on Montgomery Avenue on August 21.
Cyran Knowles was not required to enter pleas to the charges when he stood before Assistant Chief Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans.
Bail was denied and he’s back in court on October 6 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
According to police, at around 3:30am on the day in question, a 27-year-old woman came face-to-face with an armed intruder.
The man tried to rape her, but the woman fled the home and called for help.
Police arrested the alleged assailant a short time later.
