NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 40-year-old man is facing a murder charge after he allegedly stabbed a man during a fight.

Charles Williams is charged with the April 26 murder of Antonio Bethel.

The victim was attending a political party off Carmichael road when he allegedly got into an argument with the accused.

Williams was not to enter a plea to the charge when he stood before acting Chief Magistrate Ancella Evans.

He was denied bail and the matter was adjourned to August 27 for the presentation of voluntary bill of indictment papers.
