NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Prosecutors have closed their case against a 52-year-old man accused of soliciting sex from a 14-year-old boy.

Fred Williams has denied the allegation at his trial before Justice Guillimina Archer-Minns and a nine-member jury.

The teenager was at the Shell Service Station on Robinson and Baillou Hill Roads putting air in tires when he alleges Williams approached him.

After giving the child $5 and buying him a sausage, Williams asked him if he could keep a secret.

During the conversation, a police patrol car pulled up and Williams was arrested after the teen told them what he had said.
