$55M Loan Inked With Saudi Fund For North Eleuthera Airport

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The government signed a 55 million dollar loan agreement with the Saudi Development Fund for much-needed upgrades at the North Eleuthera Airport.

It’s a part of the Family Island Airport Development Plan.

Traveling from the kingdom of Saudi Arabia was Chief Executive Officer for the development fund, Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad.

Prime Minister Philip Davis says this signing represents his administration’s commitment to Eleuthera’s future.

Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Tourism Aviation and Investments Chester Cooper, claims the loan will be a favorable one for taxpayers.
