Grounded and Rooted in Soil

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Twenty-six-year-old Bahamian native, Valin Bodie, now lives in Oklahoma and is the owner of environmental soil solutions.

He says his love and passion for soil started as a child, watching his grandmother garden and he himself playing outside in the yard, as most children did.

Bodie says his goal is to export quality soil to The Bahamas or one day, manufacture here locally.

As the country currently imports billions of dollars worth of food, Bodie says he also hopes to assist local farms understand the importance of soil quality.

Bodie also runs a commercial cannabis growing business.. He says the highlight of his journey thus far has been able to help persons through the many medicinal benefits.

His advice to other aspiring entrepreneurs is follow your passion and never stop learning.
