Student Arraigned for School Shooting Threat
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A Grand Bahama student has been charged with possession of a firearm and threats of death by writing, after police allege, he threatened to shoot up the Bishop Michael Eldon School in Grand Bahama last week.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A Grand Bahama student has been charged with possession of a firearm and threats of death by writing, after police allege, he threatened to shoot up the Bishop Michael Eldon School in Grand Bahama last week.
Graffiti was found in the boys’ high school bathroom that said: “we will shoot up the school on March 3rd”.
Weir and his team also giving the media a closer look at the imitation firearms. He confirmed the firearms were not found on the school’s campus.
Over the past 20 years, school shootings have plagued campuses across the United States.
Weir says this is the first time he has dealt with a situation like this in Grand Bahama.
