NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police Commissioner Clayton Fernander slamming the recent leak of graphic crime scene photos insisting police will “deal with the person responsible”.

The photos were of 35-year-old Allison Thompson and her 14-year-old daughter Trevorniqua, who were murdered just over a week ago, where shared on social media, prompting police to investigate the leak.

The Thompson family told the Tribune newspaper they were devastated by the leak of the photos.

This is not the first time gruesome crime scene photos have made the rounds on social media.

In 2011, crime scene photos were released from the murder scene of Nellie Mae Brown-Cox, who was hacked to death in her apartment on Bougainvillea Avenue, South Beach.

Police investigated the leak but no one was ever charged.

This time around, the police commissioner says they plan on getting to the bottom of this latest leak.
