NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The British Colonial has reopened and our Marlena Leonard got an inside and extended look at the new and improved property and their focus on preserving their history.

The British Colonial has a long storied history, spanning over 100 years. This month they reopened their doors under new ownership and General Manager, Dan McDermott, tells us preserving the property’s history was a priority.

McDermott says the British Colonial is also staying true to its target audience of business travelers.

The property’s updated rooms, ballrooms, and event spaces take a modern twist on colonial styles including the Woodes Rogers Tavern, beautifully appointed with a mid-twentieth-century twist.

The property is also cohosting what promises to be one of the most anticipated New Year’s Eve parties this year.
