UNITED STATES – Actor Derek Dixon is suing Tyler Perry for 260 million dollars over alleged sexual harassment, assault, and retaliation he alleges occurred during his time on shows ‘The Oval’ and ‘Ruthless.’

In the lawsuit, which was filed in Los Angeles, Dixon claims Perry promised him roles and creative opportunities, then subjected him to unwanted advances and harassment.

Perry’s attorney called the accusations “fabricated” and a “shake down.”

Dixon says he met Perry in 2019 at the Tyler Perry Studios opening and was soon offered a small role. He alleges Perry assaulted him at his home in early 2020, then gave him a lead role, which came with implied threats about his character’s fate depending on his cooperation.
