NASSAU, BAHAMAS – In light of several homicides occuring in the past few weeks where the victim was being electronically monitored and also out on bail for murder, Attorney General Ryan Pinder sought to use some time in the Senate Friday to address the issue.

He says both the Privy Council and the Court of Appeal have ruled that there are two instances where bail should not be granted.

The attorney general’s comments came during debate on the Magistrate Amendement Bill 2022.

He says the general public must also be mindful of vigilante justice.
