AG: Govt Meeting With Pharmacies “Constructive”

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Attorney General Ryan Pinder says the meeting between the government and The Bahamas Pharmaceutical Association (BPA) was “constructive”.

The meeting was held at OPM Wednesday evening and included Health Minister Dr. Michael Darville and Economic Affairs Minister Michael Halkitis.

Pinder said an expanded list of price controlled items will be released later today.

The attorney general also explained that there is no consideration to remove VAT from medications.
