GAZA STRIP – An international charity halted food aid to starving Palestinians after an Israeli airstrike killed seven aid workers. Ships carrying 240 tons of aid turned back from Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu admitted the “unintended strike” and vowed investigation. The charity in question, World Central Kitchen, coordinated with the Israeli military, but vehicles were hit.

Officials say victims included nationals from the UK, Australia, Poland, the US and Canada, and a Palestinian.
