WASHINGTON, DC – Americans mark the 21st anniversary of the 9/11 attacks with several events today. One of them was a speech delivered by U.S. President Joe Biden at The Pentagon.

Biden using the time to commemorate the anniversary of the deadly attacks, and call for Americans to unite.

Nearly three thousand people died after extremist group Al-Qaida plunged jets into the world trade center, a portion of The Pentagon, and a field in Pennsylvania.

President Biden quoting the late Queen Elizabeth II in a speech today, using words from a message sent by the queen by shortly after the 9/11 attacks in 2001.
