MEXICO – The U.S. and Mexico are searching for four Americans who were kidnapped in north-eastern Mexico last week.

The missing Americans, who were kidnapped on March 3, have not been identified.

The U.S. government says the U.S. citizens were driving through matadors in a white minivan when a group of unidentified gunmen shot at them.

They said they were then placed in a vehicle and taken away.
