GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Meet 10-year-old Akyle’ Love Swain, founder of the organization “An Act of Love.”

Swain says her mission began when she noticed a classmate who was less fortunate and felt called to help others.

Her latest initiative included a surprise donation to the Burrows Home for the Aged, where 16 residents currently live.

Her mother, Khia Munroe, says Akyle’ has always shown compassion and kindness.

Stephanie Emmanuel of the Burrows Home described the donation as a blessing.

Organizers say anyone wishing to donate to the home or support “An Act of Love” can reach out for more information.

Akyle’ encourages other children who want to help to simply start and follow their hearts.
