NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Ranfurly Home for Children is appealing to for financial assistance and volunteers to pour into the children.

Brand Ambassador for the Ranfurly Home for Children, Braniska Bullard says she has been in four of the children’s home on the island, with Ranfurly being her last.

She says that at the home, care takers focus on several developmental goals.

Rehabilitation and transitioning successfully out of the home is also important.

Bullard says they aim to instill life skills such as learning to drive and how to open a bank account.

Bullard says they have also built transitional homes on property for the children, once they turn 18.

Runfurly is a private home and Bullard says they depend heavily on donations. But, she says care takers rely heavily on the efforts of volunteers to help keep this safe haven open.
