NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Groceries, building equipment, a Sunday School tent, tables and chairs, all stolen from St. Ambrose Anglican Church on Gladstone Road.

The church has been broken into 5 times over the summer. The most recent incident happened on August 31st.

Its an issue Father Scott Brennen has inherited. He’s a recent appointee at the church, only taking up the post on September 1st.

The shocking crime has forced the church to take extra efforts to beef up security, upgrading their camera systems while obtaining security bars and lock systems.

But the man of God is holding no hate in his heart towards the thieves.

Instead he’s sympathizing with the burglars. Adding the incidents reminds him of the challenges many residents face.

He’s also encouraging other church leaders to pay closer attention to the needs of the community

He encourages residents who need assistance to reach out.
