NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The third annual Baha Mar Foundation Golf Invitational raised funds for several local charities, including the Bahamas Cancer Society, the Bahamas Association for the Physically Disabled, and the Bahamas National Trust, among others.

The event featured various prizes such as hotel stays, restaurant dinners, golf clubs, and gift certificates, but the primary focus was on supporting those in need.

Blue Waves Swim Club Preparing for National Championships
The 53rd edition of the Bahamas National Swimming Championships is set to begin this week.

The Blue Waves Swim Club, one of the top swim clubs in the country, has ramped up its preparation for the meet, including mental training and a focus on refining swimming techniques.

Coach Dellan Brown and assistant coach Drew Lightbourne shared their plans to improve upon last year’s fourth-place finish. The championships will begin Thursday, with opening ceremonies slated for Friday evening.
